Cecilia McKay completed her degree in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University. She received a law degree from Southwestern University Law School and her Masters in Psychology from Brandman University. As a lawyer and certified court mediator, Cecilia has extensive experience in dispute resolution and helping families and couples find peaceful outcomes. Cecilia has worked with teenagers for 17 years in youth ministry, helping them find answers to spiritual questions, as well as helping them through issues such as: depression, anxiety, parent problems, relationship problems, and self-esteem concerns.
In addition, Cecilia brings an integrated clinical and pastoral perspective. She has worked as a hospital chaplain, helping families face terminal illness and end-of-life issues. Cecilia’s compassion, foresight, and therapeutic skills gives her clients the ability to make informed life decisions that create change, momentum and health in the individuals, couples and families with whom she meets. As an LMFT, Cecilia continues her work with at risk children and teens, couples and families that require cognitive behavioral therapy and family systems work.
